Drivers are urged to take care in Cumbria this morning as roads are beginning to flood.

A weather warning was in place for the county until 11am today.

Several flood alerts and flood warnings have been issued.

Reports are coming in from Cumbria Crack readers in West Cumbria and the Lake District of areas affected and roads that are flooded

Cumbria police urged people to drive with care and to the road conditions, allowing extra time for your journey and staying alert for surface water and potential flooding in low-lying areas.

People are also being urged to not drive through floor water and to take alternative routes.
