
Three people have been charged with shoplifting offences in Penrith.
Eden police said they were arrested after reports from a town centre premises on November 9.
A 36- year-old man from Westlinton, Carlisle was charged and remanded with three counts of theft from a shop.
Shannon Cherry, 27, of Semple Road, Carlisle, was charged with three counts of theft from a shop.
William Dumble, 27 of Newtown Close, Carlisle, was also charged with three counts of theft from a shop and an additional possession of a class C drug offence.
Cherry and Dumble are due to appear before court on December 8.
