Workington Reds game at home to Rushall Olympic has been declared definitely on this afternoon.
There were fears that it might have to be called off after more rain this week after the pitch was in a terrible state after Saturday’s game with Morpeth.
But it was said to be looking in remarkably good condition yesterday and with no more rain forecast the go-ahead was given for Rushall to travel.
Not so fortunate, however, were Cleator Moor Celtic whose West Lancashire League game at Hurst Green was postponed after a pitch inspection yesterday afternoon.
There has been considerable rain in the Clitheroe area this week and the game was very much in doubt, and the postponement proved to be a formality.
