
A climber in the Lake District was airlifted to hospital after dislocating their shoulder.
Langdale Ambleside Mountain Rescue Team was called out to Gimmer Crag in Langdale.
The lead climber had sustained the injury mid-route.
The team said: “Team members arrived on scene to find the injured climber had been helped down to the base of the crag by two very competent climbers who had witnessed the incident – huge thanks to them!
“The team then treated the climber and helped them into the Coastguard helicopter for onward treatment.”
