Firefighters tackled a pick-up truck blaze in Caldbeck this week.
Crews were called at 8.43pm on Thursday night to Caldbeck Common to a fire involving a large vehicle.
A spokesman for Wigton Fire Station said: “Arriving at the scene the crew found one pick-up truck well alight.
“With the vehicle being in such a remote location and water being scarce, the crew decided to use compressed air foam system which allows the crew to use foam which uses less water.

“The police also attended the incident.”
Firefighters were at the scene for an hour.
