[P]olice are investigating an unprovoked assault that occurred at approximately 9.30pm on 29th April 2017 at Montreal Street, Carlisle.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident where the victim has been hit with a metal bar to the head causing a laceration to the victim’s forehead.
Police are also looking to make identification of two linked suspects. One of the suspects is described as a white male aged approximately 40 years of age, dark short hair, wearing a dark jacket and dark jeans. The second person is described a white female, aged approximately 40 years of age, dark shoulder-length hair, wearing a cream jumper, skinny jeans and white trainers with pink on them.
