[P]olice are investigating a report of assault which occurred at 12.30am on Sunday 2nd July 2017.
The incident happened at the junction of Central Drive and the Promenade in Walney. The victim has been kicked to the head and punched numerous times whilst on the floor resulting in severe facial injuries.
It is believed some cars drove past the assault whilst it was taking place. We would like to speak with anyone who may have witnessed the incident.
