[P]olice are appealing for information after an 18-year-old was killed in a collision in Gateshead.
The collision happened around 6.40pm last night (Sunday, August 13) on Birkland Lane, just north of Cranberry Bog Road in Kibblesworth.
An 18-year-old male suffered fatal injuries.
One 17-year-old male, two 18-year-olds, a 45-year-old man and a 41-year-old woman were seriously injured in the collision.
Enquiries are on-going and police are appealing for witnesses.
