[A] Harraby woman has appeared before magistrates in Carlisle charged with fraud by false representation.
Miss Hayley Ostle, aged 27, gave her address as Argyll Drive, Harraby, Carlisle.
When the charge was read out to her by the court legal advisor the defendant replied not-guilty.
The allegation is dated between June 1 and October 6, 2016, in that she is accused of committing fraud by using a debit card belonging to another person to gain goods to the value of £3,516.81.
During the short hearing the court was told that there is an alleged breach of trust by Miss Ostle as between those dates a number of transactions were allegedly made by the defendant without consent of the debit card owner.
There will be a trial held at the Carlisle Magistrates Court on Rickergate on November 11.
