A man has died after collapsing opposite St Catherine’s Church in Boot.
Police were called 4.40pm Saturday by North West Ambulance Service following the sudden death of an 85-year-old man.
A spokesman for Cumbria Police said: “The death of the man, who is from outside of the county, is not being treated as suspicious.”
A spokesman for Wasdale MRT who were called to the incident said: “Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the walker.”
