[T]he MP for Copeland has officially opened the new offices of a local recruitment agency.

Yesterday, Trudy Harrison cut the ribbon marking the official opening of Clearnorth Recruitment’s new offices on Westlakes Science and Technology Park.

After two years in the Samuel Lindow Building’s Incubation Suites, the company’s expansion prompted the move into a larger premises based in Fleswick Court.

Trudy Harrison, MP said: “Behind every great company are great people so it was my absolute pleasure to open the new Clearnorth Recruitment office at West Lakes.  I wish Tracey, Davin and Matt all the very best for a successful future in what are most exciting times.”

Founded in 2015 by Tracey Hutchison and Davin Dhillon, Clearnorth Recruitment was established after both Tracey and Davin agreed that there was a gap in the recruitment market for an independent agency that offered a fresh approach.

Managing Director, Tracey Hutchinson, said: “Having heard Trudy speak at a recent BECBC meeting we were impressed by her passion for the area and willingness to support local businesses, therefore we are delighted that Trudy agreed to open our new office at Westlakes Science Park today.”
