[A]t 2:04pm today, Monday 2 October firefighters were called to rescue a calf from a stream on High House Road, St Bees.
A spokesman for Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service said: “Crews, from Workington and Whitehaven, and used a swift water rescue equipment, lines and a farmer’s quad bike to rescue the calf.
“Crews were at the scene for an hour and a half.”
