
[J]ane Hunt, the PR and marketing consultant with a number of Cumbrian clients, has achieved a unique feat, having had her business, Catapult PR shortlisted in three prestigious northern awards schemes, with an incredible 13 shortlistings in total.
Catapult has received fiive shortlistings in the CIM Northern Awards, organised by the Chartered Institute of Marketing, to add to the four it has in the CIPR PRide Awards and another four in the Northern Marketing Awards.
Catapult PR has been shortlisted for the CIM Northern Awards’ Best B2C Campaign, Best Integrated Campaign, Best Use of Creative, Best Campaign and Best Consultant.
In the CIPR PRide Awards, it is shortlisted for Community Relations Campaign, Integrated Campaign, Best Use of Photography or Design and Outstanding Independent Practitioner.
In the Northern Marketing Awards, its nominations are for Best Low Budget Campaign, Best CSR Campaign, Best Tourism and Leisure Campaign and Best B2C Campaign.
Within Cumbria, Catapult PR handles campaigns for clients including Cumbria’s Living Heritage, Kendal Nutricare, Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway, the Clock Tower – Haverthwaite and the All England Open Stone Skimming Championships.
It has also recently been appointed to handle the communications for the Morecambe Bay Partnership’s ‘Waders and Wildfowl’ project.
Jane Hunt, says: “We already have 24 awards and our aim in 2017 was to try to make that a nice round number of 25. Hopefully, with 13 chances to now do that, we will achieve or even exceed that goal.”
