[A] Cumbrian brewery has teamed up with the world’s largest gathering of outdoor enthusiasts to produce a special range of beers for people with a thirst for adventure.

Eden Brewery, based in Penrith, is the official beer partner for this year’s Kendal Mountain Festival, which runs from 16th – 19th November.

The annual Festival attracts thousands of people to the town every year, as filmmakers, TV producers, adventurers, top brands, athletes and speakers gather to take part in four days of film, talks and exhibitions covering all aspects of mountain and adventure sports culture.

Eden has worked with the festival organisers to produce a range beers, which will keep the crowds refreshed during the four day event. The brewery is producing Eden Dunkel, Eden Pilsner, and Eden IPA, as well as Kendal Gold – a special beer produced in collaboration with the event.

Bottles for the first three beers will have labels featuring key speakers at the festival.  Kendal Gold will feature the winning photograph from last year’s Festival Photo Competition by Dan Thwaites.

The brewery will be running its own bar in Kendal Town Hall and supplying beer for sale at the bar in Kendal Leisure Centre.

People will also be able to buy gift packs of all four of the bottled beers.

Jason Hill, the brewery’s managing director, said: “One of the best aspects of what we do is working with all the talented people that make up the Cumbrian community. We want our own business to grow, of course, but we also want it to grow alongside all the other fantastic organisations and events in the area because we know we are a lot more powerful when we work together. Kendal Mountain Festival is a great example of a local event that has broken onto the global stage and grown massively over the last five years. It’s great to be working with an organisation that truly puts Cumbria on the world stage but with very real benefits for the local area.

“We’re all active people at the brewery and we love getting out into the fells when we get a chance. We know that having a good beer after you’ve worked up a thirst goes hand in hand with pushing yourself in the outdoors, so we’ve put together a range of beers that we’re sure will suit all the different tastes of people at the festival.”

Kendal Mountain Festival director Steve Scott said: “We’re delighted to partner with a Cumbrian Brewery that not only crafts fantastic beers but embraces innovation and brand development that aligns to our strong values of creativity, inclusivity, responsibility and real adventure. On meeting Jason and his team, we instantly sensed this shared vision. We know that this is a relationship that can grow with us both at the event in the UK and with our overseas partnerships. So let’s all ‘Share The Adventure’ with a pint at Kendal!”
