[A] KENDAL man will go on trial next year after denying allegations that he met a teenage girl on three consecutive days following sexual grooming.
Martin Daniel McIntyre, 27, faced three charges when he appeared at Carlisle Crown Court over a video link from custody.
McIntyre entered not guilty pleas to all three counts. These allege the meeting of a child aged under 16 – namely a girl aged 15 – following sexual grooming. This is alleged to have occurred on October 1, 2 and 3 this year.
McIntyre, of Waterside, Kendal, was represented by barrister Richard Archer.
The defendant was told by Judge Peter Davies that his trial would take place at the crown court on April 3.
In the meantime McIntyre was remanded in custody.
