[A]n election for a town councillor for the area of Keswick East Ward was held on Thursday 23 November 2017.
The result of the by-election for the Keswick East Ward was:
- Patricia Katrina Horner 101 votes
- David William Leighton 69 votes
- Jean Murray (Labour Party) 236 votes
- Donald Reginald Thoburn 126 votes
Number of votes rejected: 1
Therefore Jean Murray was duly elected as councillor for the Keswick East Parish ward for Keswick Town Council.
