[A] MAN accused of indecently assaulting a girl in the Lake District during the 1980s is to go on trial later this year.

During a short hearing before Judge Barbara Forrester today (MON), Pullen pleaded not guilty three charges.

Each of these alleges that he indecently assaulted a girl aged under 16 during a four-month period in the the mid-1980s.

One of the alleged assaults is said to have occurred in the Windermere area, and the other two are said to have taken place in Kent.

A case timetable was agreed by the respective lawyers in the case.
