[C]arnforth based animal and people photographer Clare Malley has received regional recognition for her photography, winning a North West Enterprise Award as the Best Family and Pet Photographer – Lancashire.
Clare turned her thirty year hobby into a profession three years ago and specialises in people and their pets, she said: “I was very surprised to win as it an award I was nominated for, so I didn’t know anything about it until I had been told I’d won!
“It was a wonderful surprise, I often don’t consider my photography as work as I get to do what I love, spend time capturing special moments for people and their pets.
“Getting out and about round Cumbria and Lancashire photographing beautiful animals and their owners is the best reward, but this did make the rainy days feel even more worthwhile!”
