[P]olice are appealing for information following a public order incident which occurred on Monday March 19th at approximately 7.55pm. A disturbance was reported on the number 76 bus between B&M Bargains, Carlisle and West Tower Street, Carlisle.
Two young girls are reported to have approached another young girl on the bus and verbally abused her. The incident then continued onto West Tower Street at around 8pm, where the two girls reportedly followed the victim to a black Seat Ibiza which was parked in the bus stop outside the entrance to the covered market. The verbal altercation continued between the two young girls, the victim, and the victim’s mother who was in the black car.
The first suspect is described as a white female, approximately 14-years of age, with long black curly hair, 5ft tall and of average build. She was wearing a grey hooded top, grey jogging bottoms, and grey trainers.
The second suspect is described as a white female, approximately 15-years-old, with long blonde wavy hair, of slim build and with pale skin wearing a white cropped top and a grey cardigan.
Police are keen to speak to anyone in the area of West Tower Street, or anyone who was on the number 76 bus, at the times mentioned above, to establish if the disturbances were seen or heard by any members of the public.
Police are also appealing for information after two reports of an assault which occurred on Tuesday 20th March at approximately 6:50pm, in the area of Borland Avenue, Carlisle.
Two young females are reported to have approached another young female victim sitting in black Seat Leon, before the first suspect opened the car door and repeatedly punched the victim to the head and body. When the victim’s mother tried to intervene, a football was thrown directly into her face by the second suspect.
The first suspect is described as a white female, approximately 14-years of age, with long black curly hair, 5ft tall and of average build. wearing a black and grey hooded top or sweater, and tracksuit bottoms.
The second suspect is described as a white female, approximately 15-years old, with long blonde wavy hair, of slim build and with pale skin wearing a grey hooded top with a pink top underneath.
Police are keen to speak to anyone in the area of Borland Avenue, at the times mentioned above, to establish if the disturbance were seen or heard by any members of the public.
Police believe these attacks involve the same suspects.
