
A £450,000 cannabis farm has been found in Kirkby Stephen.
Police raided a property in Market Square on Wednesday, July 1.
Officers from Eden’s Neighbourhood Policing team and Westmorland and Furness’s Community and Serious Organised Crime unit carried out the raid.
Searches at the property found the cannabis farm within the address where plants were valued at £450,000.

Agim Cjapi,32 of Market Street, Kirkby Stephen, has been charged with producing a controlled class B drug.
He appeared before court on Thursday, July 2 and has been remanded until a further hearing on July 31.
