[A]t around 3:20pm today, Monday 9 April firefighters were called to a fire at the rear of Workington Leisure Centre on Griffin Street, Workington.
A spokesman for Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service said: “On arrival the crew discovered that the fire in the open covered approximately 50 square metres.
“Firefighters used water and beaters to extinguish the flames and were at the scene for just over 10 minutes.”
