This year’s categories are:
- Penrith Business of the Year (Sponsored by Armstrong Watson) – Eg: professional services, tradesmen, beauty salons, creative’s, sole traders, accommodation providers etc
- Penrith Retailer of the Year (Sponsored by Penrith BID) – Eg: food, gift, card, furniture, clothes shops etc
- Penrith Food and Drink of the Year (Sponsored by Dodd & Co) – Eg: café’s, restaurant’s, bistro’s, bars, roadside vans etc
- Unsung Hero (Sponsored by O’Reilly Wealth Management) – Eg: volunteer helper, school club organiser etc.

- Employee of the Year
Your chance to vote for an employee who work behind the scenes who ensure the smooth running of the business, organisation or non-profit venture. This could be any member of staff that you feel goes the extra mile and would be a loss to the business without them
The deadline for nominations of the awards is midnight on Wednesday 30 May 2018, except for nominations of Unsung Hero which is midnight on Wednesday 16 May 2018.
