Tim Farron MP and Simon Blunden

[L]ocal MP Tim Farron joined local man Simon Blunden for a run around Kendal to help him with his campaign to raise money for Muscular Dystrophy research.

Simon’s has taken on the challenge of running every day in 2018, to help his friend’s 7-year old son, Greg, who has the Duchenne form of the condition.

They were joined for the run by Stuart Murray from the leading charity Muscular Dystrophy UK.

Tim said: “I thoroughly enjoyed my run around Kendal with Simon and Stuart.

“It takes a lot of courage to do what Simon is doing and it’s for such an important cause.

“I wish him luck for the rest of the campaign and would encourage people to donate to increase awareness of DMD which is in desperate need of further research.”

Simon’s JustGiving page can be found here.
