[P]olice are investigating a sexual assault that occurred in Cockermouth.
The incident occurred at approximately 3am on 3rd June at the junction of Sullart Street and Main Street.
The victim, a female aged in her 30s, was assaulted by a male.
Enquiries are ongoing to identify the offender and police urge anyone who may have information to contact them.
