Two men will appear in court next month following a fatal collision on a West Cumbrian road.
Gillian Livingstone, 76, of Cleator Moor, and her grandchild were struck by a motorbike on Ennerdale Road at around 4.25pm on Tuesday, May 26.
Ms Livingstone died at the scene of the collision. Her grandchild suffered a serious head injury.
Following the collision, police arrested three men.
Kieran Joseph Yorke, 22, of Workington, has already appeared in court accused of killing Ms Livingstone by driving a motorcycle dangerously — and while unlicensed and uninsured.
The other two men were bailed while investigations continued.
Today, Friday July 10, Cumbria police said officers had charged the men overnight.
Overnight, Shaun Rafferty, 22, of Hunters Drive, Seaton and Stefan Young, 23, of Moresby Parks, Whitehaven, have been charged with causing death by dangerous driving.
They were bailed to attend Workington Magistrates’ Court on August 3.
