Dan Scott, managing director at PHX Training

[A] Cumbria based training provider has launched a new apprenticeship programme under the reformed Apprenticeship Levy scheme.

PHX Training, recently approved and listed on the Register of Approved Training Providers, offers level two and three qualifications in Effective Business Administration Skills, equipping learners with highly effective administration skills that meet specific business objectives.

In addition, PHX Training offers benefits to employers and employees, including matching apprentices to businesses, application support and mediation to achieve tangible results for both the business and applicant.

Dan Scott, managing director at PHX Training said: “Our new Effective Business Administration Skills apprenticeship is for learners who work in, or who want to work in various types of roles. At PHX we train, mentor and build skills for apprentices whether they are a new starter or an existing employee.

“We know that each business is different which is why we work closely with businesses to understand what knowledge is required so that we can deliver learning that is unique to the employer.”

Apprentices work towards a nationally recognised qualification over 12-15 months at one of the seven PHX Training centres across the north west. Twenty per cent of training is undertaken away from the workplace to allow learners to focus on their education and PHX works with employers to develop an effective plan that suits the needs of their business.

The programme enables apprentices to develop skills in customer services, time management, Microsoft business applications and sales. PHX Training also provides each apprentice with level two qualifications in core skills for maths, English and IT if not already qualified.

PHX Training specialises its apprenticeship training in business and administration under the Apprenticeship Levy scheme alongside delivering direct training in core skills at seven training centres in Barrow, Blackpool, Carlisle, Morecambe, Preston, Workington and Southport.

If you’d like to find out how PHX Training can help telephone on 01524 412384 or email [email protected].
