[P]olice are investigating an incident which occurred at 6:45pm on Monday 4 June in the vicinity of London Road and Close Street in Carlisle.
Police detained a man who had been seen brandishing a large knife towards a group of people.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “Officers are appealing for further witnesses to come forward.”
