St Bees School

[P]reparations for the launching of the revitalised St Bees School continue at a pace. There is a highly experienced and knowledgeable team in place to ensure that all is ready for September 6th and beyond.

Jayne Scott, the School Bursar, was a key part of the team who opened Dulwich College Singapore. Her tremendous operations team have been polishing and shining the school, and a complete refurbishment of certain buildings has been undertaken, thanks to the considerable efforts of John Stobbart.

Gareth Seddon, who is leading the school as Headmaster, has already appointed teachers, revised schemes of work and produced an imaginative and creative curriculum to inspire and challenge the pupils. They have been joined by Mike Abraham, a most experienced independent school head, who has first-hand experience of starting a new school. He was the founding head at Yarm Prep School in the North East.

The team are grateful for the tremendous support of the trustees, and also generous financial backing from the Full Circle Group Ltd, led by Danny Wang, and the School Trust. The school is looking forwards with confidence.

A warm welcome awaits all those who want to come and see us to find out more.

Every day is an open day at St Bees School.”
