[P]OLICE have charged a man from Cleator Moor, for GBH Assault, following an incident on Saturday 7th July, at around 8pm, on Lowther Street, Whitehaven.
The victim, a 24-year-old local man remains in a serious but stable condition in Newcastle hospital.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “Kevin Christian, 25, of Jacktrees Road, Cleator Moor, has been charged with GBH Assault. He was remanded to appear in court today.”
