[P]olice are investigating a burglary which occurred in the Macadam Gardens area of Penrith between 9pm and 10:45pm yesterday, Friday 17 August.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “During the burglary a large amount of pound coins were stolen.”
Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with information to contact Cumbria Police on 101 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 quoting log 258 of 17 August.
