[P]olice are investigating an incident which took place at some point on Saturday 25th August 2018.
An man is alleged to have chased a woman along Dalton Avenue on to Creighton Avenue in Carlisle whilst in possession of a baseball bat.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “The man, aged 20 and from the Carlisle area was arrested on suspicion of threats to kill.
“He has been released on bail pending further enquiries.”
Police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed part or all of this incident to get in touch.
