SPIRITUAL readers, healers and a host of holistic therapies are on offer in Whitehaven.

Hosted by Sacred Haven Holistic Events, the one-day fair, on September 16, will provide a unique introduction to the world of holistic therapies promised to rejuvenate mind, body and spirit – and it’s all for a good cause!

Taking place in the Beacon Portal, the event promises to offer a variety of holistic experiences with demonstrations and tasters available throughout the day.

All proceeds from the event will be donated to local charities Cash for Kids and North West Air Ambulance.

Emma Louise Summerfield, of Sacred Haven Holistic Events, said: “I wanted to bring the opportunity of experiencing the wonderful benefits of holistic therapies to local people and provide a great networking platform for businesses in my home town of Whitehaven, whilst raising funds for two amazing local charities.

“I’m looking forward to seeing everyone and sharing a lovely day.”

Elizabeth Kwasnik, Director of the Beacon Museum, said: “The Beacon Museum and Portal offer not just a taste of our local heritage, but also a great community hub for events such as these.

“The Beacon Portal is a new space that is for the benefit of the local community, and opportunities to engage with lifestyle, health and wellbeing choices are important to us.”

The Sacred Haven Holistic Fayre will take place from 10am until 4pm and admission is £2 per person. For more information go to www.thebeacon-whitehaven.co.uk or call 01946 592302.
