There are currently no TransPennine Express trains running between Preston and Glasgow/Edinburgh.
This is due to a train hitting a tree on the line at Gretna.
A TransPennine Express spokesman said: “We are currently advising those intending to travel on our services between Scotland and Preston not to travel today. Instead, their tickets will be accepted for travel tomorrow.”
