Police are investigating an incident of Actual Bodily Harm which occurred in the area of Stanhope Road, Carlisle, on the evening of 19th September 2018.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “The victim has been assaulted by a group of around 7 males, who have left the scene heading towards Wigton Road / Granville Road area at around 10pm.
“The victim has been left with back and facial injuries.”
Police are appealing for any witnesses to this incident to come forward with information and should contact the police quoting log 378 of 19th September 2018
