Two men have been charged after police were called to the West Street Social Club in Wigton, at 11.20pm on Saturday (13 Oct).
This followed reports of a fight outside and inside the premises involving weapons.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “Three people were injured with one man requiring stitches having suffered a slashing injury to his arm believed to have been caused by a bottle.
“Two men were subsequently arrested.
“Thomas Reynolds, 28, of Brookside Place, Carlisle, has been charged with a public order offence.
“Callum Kerr, 23, of no fixed address, has been charged with possession of an offensive weapon in a public place, affray and criminal damage.”
Inquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident and officers would like to hear from anyone who witnessed what happened or who has information which could assist.
