Firefighters were called to a house fire in Whitehaven.
Cumbria Fire & Rescue Service said crews responded to the fire which happened on Loop Road North.
Four fire engines from Whitehaven and Workington fire stations were mobilised at 3.16pm to the first report of the fire, arriving on scene within five minutes.
The fire has now been extinguished using breathing apparatus and hose reel jets.
Crews remain on scene while the property is checked for any remaining hotspots using a thermal imaging camera.
The Loop Road was closed while firefighters tackled the fire.
