Forward Ladies has announced the winners of the National Awards and Summit for 2018, sponsored by HSBC UK.
The Awards took place on Friday 12th October at a celebration lunch at The Lowry Hotel, Manchester before an inspirational audience of senior and influential business leaders.
Judith Wren who creates Kin Toffee Vodka from her base in Newby Bridge was one of 10 finalists in the Female Entrepreneur Category and was absolutely thrilled to win this prestigious award. She says ‘the accomplishments amongst such a fantastic group of women are amazing and to have won in such talented company was brilliant’. Sharon Marshall who leads business development for the company collected the award on behalf of Judith. The next stage is the national live judging day in November, with the National Final Awards ceremony being held in December – and event that Judith is definitely attending!
The esteemed National Awards were introduced nine years ago to acknowledge and promote the fact that women are an integral and invaluable part of every business. This year, Forward Ladies continues to recognise and honour the most respected businesswomen, across a wide range of business categories
This award topped off a fantastic week at Trolle Trading Ltd, as the company won Best Drinks Producer in the Regional Finals at the Rural Business Awards. Judith will be attending the national final of this early in 2019, so watch this space.
