At 7:27am on Sunday 28th October two fire engines from Workington attended a building fire on Church Road, Workington.
On arrival crews found a fire in a commercial building and used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet and a positive pressure ventilation fan to bring the fire under control.
Crews were detained for approximately ninety minutes.
At 4:46pm on Sunday one fire engine from Workington fire station and two fire engines from Whitehaven fire station attended a fire in Distington.
The fire involved the first floor of a domestic premise.
Firefighters used four breathing apparatus and two hose reels to extinguish the fire.
