David Keith, Pharmacist Store Manager at Well Pharmacy Wigton Road in Carlisle, won the Customer Care Champion Award at the company’s first ever awards ceremony. Well Pharmacy is the UK’s largest independent pharmacy chain, with over 780 pharmacies across the country, and David fought off the competition with his customer centric attitude.
The Well Awards were introduced to recognise the company’s shining stars in community pharmacy, and the glitzy evening was hosted by television personality Gethin Jones, at the Imperial War Museum in Manchester, close to the pharmacy chain’s head office.
David lives and breathes Well Pharmacy’s core values, always ensuring both him and his team are offering the best customer experience to the local community, and the pharmacy recently achieved 100% on the latest mystery shopper challenge. He always puts his customers first, knowing many of them on a first name basis, building strong community relationships over the years.
Sophie Baldock, Engagement Manager at Well said: “Our people are our difference, and I’m so proud to work with amazing colleagues like David, who have a major impact on the business, and make a huge difference to the health and wellbeing of the community every day.
“There were a high number of entries and nominations for our awards, and the standards were remarkable. At Well, customer care is our number one priority, and David certainly deserves to win in this category, helping customers to improve their health and wellbeing.”
