At 8.27pm yesterday, Wednesday 14 November, two fire engines from Workington fire station attended a fire on Savours Way, Workington involving a commercial property.
A Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “Firefighters used one hose reel and two breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire.
“Fire crews were in attendance for ninety minutes.”
At 11.07pm yesterday, two fire engines from Workington attended a fire on Casson road, Workington involving a kitchen at a domestic property.
A Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “Firefighters used one hose reel and four breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire.
“Fire crews were in attendance for sixty minutes.”
