Police are investigating an aggravated burglary that occurred in the early hours of Thursday 3rd January at approximately 12.10am on High White Close, Barrow.
Offenders were described as wearing dark clothing and made efforts to enter a property before smashing a window and fleeing the scene.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “A 37-year-old man from Barrow has been arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary and criminal damage. He remains in police custody.”
