At 11:37am today, Thursday 21 February four fire engines from Kendal, Staveley, Milnthorpe and Windermere attended a persons reported fire on Lound Road, Kendal.
A Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “The crews used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet and a thermal imaging camera to bring the fire under control.
“There were two casualties involved and the crews were at the scene for approximately two hours and thirty five minutes.”
