POLICE investigating an assault in the Kirkland area of Kendal have made a second arrest.
Officers were called shortly before 5pm yesterday, 8 April following a report of a man in his 20s having been assaulted near to the play park.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “A 15-year-old was arrested on suspicion of assault.
“Both he and the 23-year-old man arrested yesterday have been bailed pending further enquiries.
“The victim of the assault was discharged from hospital overnight.”
Officers would like to continue to appeal for witnesses who have not yet come forward to do so referencing incident 164 of 8 April 2019.
