Police are investigating reports of an assault which took place on the dancefloor of Broadway nightclub, Barrow at approximately 2:15am on Sunday 5th May.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “A tall man, possibly wearing a bright green top, has approached a blonde-haired woman, assaulted her, knocking her to the floor.
“The 21-year-old victim suffered bruising and swelling to her right eye.”
Anyone who witnessed the assault, or can identify the suspect, is asked to contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111, quoting log 24 of the 5th May 2019.
