Police are investigating the theft of a motorised wheelbarrow from Chapel Street, Appleby between 9pm on the 1st May and 5pm on 4th May.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “The wheelbarrow is yellow and has 1/3 ton skiploader in black lettering on the side, valued at £1,000.”
