Police are investigating an assault that occurred on the 4th May 2019, at roughly 2:04am outside the Junction Bar on Washington Street, Workington.
Two men, one wearing black clothing and jeans and the other wearing a white tshirt and jeans, had an altercation at Padua’s Bar and then approached each other on the road and assaulted each other.
A Cumbria Police spoeksman said: “The man in white has been knocked to the floor and suffered injuries to his head, not believed to be life changing.
“A 29-year-old man from Maryport was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm and bailed pending further enquiries.
“If anybody has witnessed this incident or has any information in regards to it, can they get in touch with police on 101 and ask for PC 2499 Patterson.”
