Police are investigating the theft of ornamental Koi fish from an address in the Grizebeck area of south Cumbria.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “Upwards of 60 fish have been taken with an estimated value of between £3500 and £4000.
“The incident took place between Monday 6th May 2019 and Friday 17th may 2019.”
Anybody with information that may assist in recovering the fish and identifying those responsible is asked to contact the police on 101, Crimestoppers, in confidence, on 0800 555 111 or speak with any police officer, quoting log number 175 of the 23rd May.
