Police are investigating an assault on a male close to the Dock Museum on Friday 31 May.
At approx 7pm an unknown male suspect has approached the victim and warned him away from the fishing area of the Dock Museum.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “The male victim, from Barrow had been walking away when he was assaulted, he suffered two fractures in his hand.
“The suspect is described as a white male, with potential links to one of the boat houses near the Dock Museum.”
