Northern Powerhouse hosts SME information and networking events across the region

The Northern Powerhouse is hosting a Northern PowerUP information and networking event for small and mid-sized business owners and managers in the Cumbria area.

Cumbria PowerUP, Carlisle – Tuesday 18th June, 9.30am, People First Cumbria, CA2 5XB

The session is part of the Northern PowerUP series, aimed at connecting businesses with support and opportunities for growth in the local area. Northern PowerUPs provide an information and networking forum to talk about how the national modern Industrial Strategy applies to Cumbria organisations, help inspire enterprise leaders and continue to drive the local economy forward.

Speakers at the event include representatives from the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial strategy, the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund, and the Cumbria Local Enterprise Partnership, along with Appleby Creamery, a local business sharing its experience in sourcing funding and support to boost success.

This is part of a series taking place in Cheshire, Humber, Cumbria, Lancashire and Tees Valley during June 2019.
