A man has been charged with GBH following an assault which occurred on College Street, Whitehaven, on the 14th June.
Police were called to the incident at 3.22am on the 14th June.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “Thomas O’Fee, 23, of George Street, Whitehaven has been charged with grievous bodily harm with intent and is due to appear at Workington Magistrates Court tomorrow (18thJune).
“A 30-year-old man from West Yorkshire remains in Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle, in a stable condition.
“Two men, aged 44 and 35 who were arrested on the 14th June, on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm have since been released with no further action being taken.”
